Catastrophically long since my last post, which was way back in November 08 in Changi. It's way into the new year and first things first, congratulations Mr. President. Now go to work and rid the world of your horrid American cars.
On to football eh? United marches on to Wembley! But not without facing a battering from the Rams. Before we all get dreary eyed dreaming about a quintuple (five major trophies, with the World Club Cup already in the bag), let's delay our verdict until tonight's meet with bottom club WBA.
Have u seen the 2009 season F1 cars? Renault's looks like the bastard love child of the A380 and a spy probe. Horrendous. Secretly, its an effective tool, Kimi in his F60 looks in the sidepod-mounted mirrors and instantly dies of shock and Alonso breezes past without breaking a sweat.
Bear with me now, coz i'm gonna go on ranting some more on F1. It does seem that the F1 governing body have lost their nuts. This season will have the most changes ever to the regulations of cars in the history of the sport. Grooved tires back to slicks, numerous aerodynamic changes, no more extravagant dumbo wings, ridges, creases here and there. A pity really. The whole grid last year was just getting used to 2008-spec aero when the season ended, now they're forced to start all over again. And don't even get me started on KERS, which is a device which captures lost kinetic energy while braking and discharging the excess power while acceleration.
The grid is now down to 18 cars, unless somebody buys out Honda and Super Aguri. Which i suppose won't happen too soon considering the current economic climate. Which is in the shit. Britain's officially in recession, US too, but Mr. Obama is too busy talking to Arabic television to admit.
Nevertheless, great time to spot a bargain if you have a little spare cash lying around eh? The low Sterling is a sizzling prospect. However, one has to wonder, is the Pound really worth even that much? Think about it, the Reserve Bank's foreign reserves is mostly in USD , which is a brittle currency, the UK doesn't have any natural resources. What's their most valuable export? 21yr old Single Malt Scotch Whiskey?
